The subject service falls within the scope of the activities for the “Design for the completion of the Termini Imerese infrastructure” and specifically for the construction of the new logistics dock entrusted by the Port System Authority of Western Sicily (AdSP) to VOLO Ingegneria in Palermo, funded with PNRR ZES funds. The project involves the complete arrangement of the port area between the trapezoidal and sub-flush docks, intended for shipyards, and the simultaneous advancement of the waterfront by creating a dock and a slipway serving the shipyards. The dock will be formed by a fill bounded and supported by a sheet pile wall, the latter designed to prevent the siphoning of the material constituting the fill behind the wall. This area will also be equipped with all the essential services for the normal functions of a shipyard area, including lighting, water supply, and wastewater disposal.
