The project involved the construction of eight new Skyboxes inside the Renzo Barbera Stadium in Palermo, as part of a redevelopment project aimed at enhancing the spectator experience and offering exclusive spaces for hospitality and corporate events.

The structures were built on the second level of the covered grandstand, seamlessly integrating with the pre-existing Skyboxes. Works included reorganizing circulation corridors and removing obsolete architectural barriers to optimize spatial efficiency and safety.

From a structural standpoint, dry-construction techniques were employed using plasterboard partitioning, expansive glazed surfaces, and steel structural framing to ensure stability and high thermo-acoustic insulation. In addition, state-of-the-art building services were installed, including independent climate control, mechanical ventilation, energy-efficient LED lighting, and electronic badge access control.

The Skyboxes provide a sophisticated hospitality environment featuring high-end finishes, flexible layouts, and dedicated hospitality amenities. The project actively contributes to the modernization of the stadium, elevating fan comfort and creating new commercial opportunities for the club and its partners.
